MORE cards:
All patrons must be registered and have a valid library card to borrow library materials.
Adults residing in Wisconsin may apply for a library card at the Woodville Community
Library (or any participating
MORE library), with proper identification. MORE cards issued by other libraries are
valid at the Woodville Library.
Cards for Children and Youth: Children ages 6-15 may apply for their
own card if their parent or legal guardian co-signs the application.
Lost Cards: A patron who loses their library card should notify the
library as soon as possible to prevent fraudulent use of the card. A replacement card may
be obtained for $1.
Card Expiration: MORE cards issued by Woodville expire after one year.
To renew a card, patrons must pay all outstanding fines and replacement costs for damaged
and lost books.
All
patrons are expected to bring their library cards with them to check out materials. There
is no limit on the number of items a patron can borrow at one time with two exceptions:
- A limit may be placed on the number of items which may be borrowed for a known school
assignment.
- Patrons with 10 or more overdue items may be restricted with regard to the number of new
items which can be checked out until the overdue items are returned.
Most items from the Wooodville Library can be checked out for a three-week period.
Videos and DVDs have a one-week check-out. Current periodicals, reference
materials and materials on reserve do not circulate.
Materials
from the Woodville Library may be renewed once unless they have been placed on reserve for
another patron. To renew an item call the library at 715-698-2430; bring in the item; or
renew it online through the MORE online catalog.
Library
staff are available to assist patrons in placing unavailable items from Woodville or other
libraries on reserve. Patrons can also reserve books through the MORE online catalog.
Woodville Library
staff are available to assist patrons in obtaining materials from other libraries through
interlibrary loan and/or the MORE system. Materials obtained through interlibrary loan are
due on the date established by the library of origin. |
